About dash.

Studio Dash was born from a lifelong love for aesthetics, design and pieces with character. From a young age, I was drawn to beautiful fabrics, strong silhouettes and the feeling certain objects or garments could create. Over time, that instinct slowly grew into my own personal style and eventually into a carefully curated collection.

What started as a personal search for unique pieces turned into an endless hunt for forgotten treasures. I spend countless hours searching through vintage markets, online archives, hidden corners of the internet and pre loved collections, always looking for pieces that stand out through silhouette, material, texture or color.

Often, a piece immediately sparks a certain atmosphere or visual story in my mind. Through styling, photography and unexpected combinations, I love bringing forgotten pieces into a new context and giving them a different kind of presence again. Much of Studio Dash comes to life inside my studio, where fashion, imagery and storytelling naturally come together.

Studio Dash is not limited to one decade or style. I’m drawn to dramatic 80s tailoring, sculptural shoulders, cinched waists, Italian glamour, runway aesthetics and unexpected contrasts, but also to timeless pieces from the 50s, 60s or 70s that still feel powerful today. What matters most is the feeling a piece creates.

Every item selected for Studio Dash has something distinctive: a strong shape, a luxurious or unusual fabric, a striking color or simply a certain presence. Some pieces are vintage, others are carefully sourced pre loved items. Occasionally, pieces are subtly reworked or reimagined when I see a new vision hidden inside them.

More than anything, Studio Dash is a reflection of my love for styling, storytelling and discovering beauty in pieces that deserve a second life.

And somewhere in between all of that, François is usually nearby.
